The (Not-So) Fatal Erotic Blow

“Sex is not a thing you do; it’s a place you go.”

There really is a lot about this talk that I absolutely love.

It's the thing that I think imaginative people--kinky or vanilla (though the more imaginative you are, the more kinks you tend to accumulate)--get so well. Great sex is so much less about what you do--the toys you use or the roles you play or the positions you contort yourself into--it's about getting yourself there. About going to places you can't in your normal, everyday life. It's a suspension of reality. It's getting lost in the scene. It is the ultimate escape.

The mind--the will and willingness of a person--is so much more sexually relevant and powerful than the penis or the clit. It's why spanking can be sexy. It's why the act of crossdressing can be hot. It's why the utterly incongruent act of sexual denial can be ridiculously arousing. Because the sexual space--so much more than any act--is what defines sex.

We Are Our Own Size Queens

Personally, I find curvier, fuller women very sexy. If I had any complaint about this mannequin, it would be that awful wig.

It's not that I necessarily find curvy women sexier--attractiveness is much more complicated, much richer than simple shape--rather I'm sad that fashion and media--and, yes, literature too--too often refuses to accept beauty outside a certain, very arbitrary definition.

It ignores--excludes and disqualifies--the majority of people in existence in favor of what? An impossibility that doesn't exist outside of Photoshop and plastic molds.

There is so much beauty in the world. So many unbelievably attractive people who can't see themselves as such because we only get one standard. Conversely, so many of us try so hard to fit that impossible mold, utterly missing the much more interesting facets of attractiveness--creativity, confidence, humor, completeness, capability--letting all that waste away undeveloped so we can fit into a size of jeans we were probably not meant to fit in in the first place.

Give me a curvy woman who knows how amazingly hot she is over a skinny woman fussing over whether her lack of ass is fat. There's a woman I want to take out to dinner.

Search Keyword Win!

Sometimes I just love the things Google tells me are my Search Keywords of the week. This week's winner: "incredible balancing act nsfw." Incredible love for the folks who searched that one; you made me smile.

The Art of Asking

Hey, to any and all of my readers and followers, take a look at the video, all about the relationship between an artist and their audience.

And, here's me as an artist of sorts, asking all of you, if you like my stuff, like it--here and anywhere you can find it--share it, follow me, comment.

It's the thing about the internet, about sending my work out into the digital ether, it can all too often feel like a void.

I can't even describe how much I love hearing from fans--how a single letter or a share or a like can make this whole process feel worth it--and, for all my words and writing prowess, I can't adequately tell you just how much I would love to hear from you.

This is all the payment I'm asking for.
